Frequently asked questions
Short answers to the questions we get most. For anything else, open a Support ticket from your dashboard.
What is Smart Widget Platform?
A widget you embed on your own website so visitors can price your services, pick a free slot from your real availability, book it, and pay — online or in person. You manage everything (services, prices, hours, bookings, payments) from one dashboard.
How do I put it on my site?
Copy the one-line script tag from the widget's Embed tab and paste it where you want the widget to appear — it works on any site that lets you add custom HTML (WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow, plain HTML pages…). The Test page in your dashboard shows it running on a page just like yours.
What do the plans include?
Free: one widget and 20 bookings a month, PayPal checkout, a small "Powered by" mark. Starter: three widgets, 200 bookings a month, every payment method, no mark. Pro: unlimited widgets and bookings, advanced analytics with CSV export, priority support. Current prices, monthly and yearly, are on Settings → Billing.
How does the trial work?
Every new account starts with a free trial of the Pro plan — no card, nothing to cancel. When it ends you keep your account and everything in it on the Free plan; widgets beyond the Free limit are paused until you subscribe.
Which payment methods can my visitors use?
Pay in person (cash, on the day) is always available. Online: PayPal, "card via PayPal" (a card form with no PayPal account needed) and Stripe (cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay). An online method is offered to visitors once it is available on the platform, included in your plan, and connected in Settings → Payments — the builder's Payment tab shows the state of each one. Methods marked "Coming soon" are being switched on and will appear automatically.
Where does my customers' money go?
Straight to you. Online payments are processed by Stripe or PayPal into the account you connect; Smart Widget Platform never holds your funds and takes no commission on them. You are the seller of record, so refunds and disputes are handled between you, your customer and the provider, from your own Stripe or PayPal dashboard.
How do I cancel, and what happens then?
Settings → Billing → Cancel. No further charges; your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, then the account moves to Free and widgets beyond the Free limit are paused (never deleted). There are no partial refunds — see the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Which currency do my widgets charge in?
The account currency you pick in Settings → Payments — every widget prices and charges in that one currency. For Stripe it has to be a currency your connected Stripe account can settle in; Settings warns you if it isn't. Our own subscription prices are shown in the platform's billing currency on the Billing page.
Which languages are supported?
The dashboard and the widget are available in English, Hungarian and Serbian. Each widget has its own default language and you can override any text your visitors see.
What happens to my visitors' data?
The widget collects only what the booking needs and stores it in your dashboard. You are the controller of that data and we process it for you — we never use it for our own purposes or sell it. Details, and what you need to tell your visitors, are in the Privacy Policy.
How do I get help?
Open a ticket from the Support page in your dashboard; Pro accounts are answered first. The Guides page covers setup step by step.
