Smart Widget Platform uses only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to protect your session. There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Some are essential for a site to work; others track you across sites for advertising. We use only the first kind, plus your browser's local storage for a couple of display preferences.

2. What we use on this site

On the dashboard and this website:

Session cookie (strictly necessary): keeps you signed in and expires when you log out or after a period of inactivity.
XSRF-TOKEN (strictly necessary): protects forms and requests against cross-site request forgery. Cleared when your session ends.
Theme and language (local storage, not a cookie): remembers whether you chose light or dark mode and which language you use. Never sent to us.

Because these are strictly necessary for the Service to work, no consent banner is required for them. We set no analytics, advertising or social-media cookies.

3. The embedded widget on your website

The widget you embed does not set cookies on your visitors' browsers and does not track them across sites. When a visitor reaches the payment step, the payment provider's own component loads (Stripe.js or the PayPal JavaScript SDK) and may set its own cookies for fraud prevention and to complete the payment, under that provider's cookie policy. If you enable online payments, your own cookie notice should mention this.

4. How to control cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the strictly necessary cookies will stop you from signing in to the dashboard.

5. Changes

If we ever add cookies that are not strictly necessary, we will update this page and ask for your consent first.
